Connect to T-Mobile Mobile Internet

To connect to T-Mobile Mobile Internet, use the following steps:

1. Make sure your SIM card is in your laptop stick.
2. Insert your laptop stick in the USB port of your computer.
3. Open the Connection Manager.
4. Make sure that T-Mobile Broadband is displayed on the Profile Name field.
5. Click Connect.

Install the Prepaid Connection Manager for Microsoft Windows

To install the Prepaid Connection Manager, follow these steps:

1. Insert the Jet data stick.
2. When prompted, click AutoRun.exe.
   Important: Administrative rights are needed to install the Prepaid Connection Manager.
3. Click Next.
4. Click Next at the License Agreement window.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Next.
7. The software will install. Below is a screenshot:

To install the Prepaid Connection Manager, follow these steps:

Uninstall the Connection Manager for Mac OS X

To uninstall the Prepaid Connect Manager on Mac OS X, click and drag the Prepaid Connection Manager icon to the Recycle Bin in the dock.

To uninstall the Prepaid Connect Manager for Windows XP, follow these steps:

1. Click Start.
2. Select Settings.

Enable SIM PIN code

To enable SIM PIN, follow these steps:

7. Click OK.

Disable SIM PIN code

To disable SIM PIN, follow these steps:

1. From the main Connection Manager screen, click Tools.
2. Click PIN Operations.
3. Click Disable PIN Verification.
4. Enter the current PIN (default is 1234).
5. Click OK.

Unblock PIN (PUK code)

In the event the data stick becomes locked, you can re-enable the PIN function by entering a Personal Unblocking Key (PUK).

If the PIN is locked, the user will see the following dialog box where they will have the opportunity to reset the PIN by entering a combination of the PUK and the new PIN.

To unblock, enter the PUK, new PIN code, and click OK.

View mobile number

To check the phone number, use the following steps:

1. Make sure your SIM card is in your laptop stick and insert your laptop stick in the USB port of your computer.
2. Open the Connection Manager.
3. Click Tools and select Diagnostics.
4. Click the SIM tab.
5. The mobile number will be displayed next to Own number (MSISDN).

The signal can be viewed from the connection manager main screen in the lower left corner.
